Can anyone give me a web site for reviews of digital recorders. I'm
interested in ones with a hard drive and DVD recorder/

However it's not a digital TV receiver, and as this is a digital-TV forum I
would assume thats it what is after.


As far as I'm aware, there are no digital-TV receivers that can also record
to DVD. To be honest, I don't think you will see it from any of teh major
brands, the possibility of making perfect copies would cause major fits with
the RIAA in teh US and simular orgs in other places.

Given that you can already do it using a DVB-T card and DVDR drive in your
PC... or by hooking a digital STB into a DVD recorder, I don't see that a
stand alone DVD recorder with a digital tuner is any different. Just give it
time and the two technologies will come together.

I'll be surprised if we don't see one in the next 12 months.
