LG RT44SZ21RB 111cm DLP - Opinions?

Hi,

I was thinking about getting this screen this week. I have read some
positive reviews but also some very bad reviews on http://www.avforums.com/
and other places.

I have received an offer for $4550 including delivery which I believe is
quite a good price for this screen. Is this because there are new models
that are to be released shortly which may supercede this particular model?

Any opinions on this set and the timing of the purchase would be very
muchappreciated.

I've had this LG for about 2 months now. I can't fault it so far. great
picture especially with the STB. At the time the Plasmas were still too
expensive for me and the LCDs still are, so this was the best alternative
for me.

I was about to buy one. Cheapest I got was $4490 delivered, but I backed out
after reading the many complaint people have registered with the unit.

This is what I heard too.

Does anyone know if any other makers are bring out DLP rear Projector
units soon?

I heard Samsung makes a few models.
