FTVguide + Datacasting 44 Officially Released Today (17-March-2004)

Hey,
Do a channel search on your STB... a new channel has appeared (in
Sydney at any rate...)
LCN 4, FTVguide, appeared today; and Datacasting 44 is officially
released today!
All is being received on Channel 35 here, courtesy of Broadcast
Australia.
You can now switch between LCNs 2,3,4,7,9 and 1 on a TEAC DV-B300
digital terrestial receiver using the "Jump" button on the remote,
which comes in handy :)

Logical Channel list for Channel 35:

4 - FTVguide - a TV guide, including widescreen information, now-next
information neatly displayed, along with what's on tonight;
40,44 - D44,D-44 - Datacasting 44 main page (repeated);
41 - D-44-News - News, sourced from the ABC;
45 - NSW Department of Commerce datacasting channel - Weather reports
from RTA cameras, surf reports, and more...
48 - D44-TAB - SportsTAB results;
49 - D44-EXPO - A World On Show - informercial TV;
401 D44Parl-Reps - House of Representatives (audio only);
402 D44Parl-Senate - The Senate (audio only);
403 D44Parl-ComRe - Main committee room (audio only);
404 D44Parl-1Com'tee - Committee room 1 (audio only);
405 D44Parl-1Com'tee - Committee room 2 (audio only);

I can't get any of those even after scanning 2 times for them.
Do they only work in the inner suburbs or something
?

Works fine here around 16kms south of Sydney, has been reported to work on
the Central Coast too.

They're broadcasting from the Gore Hill tower, and I'm getting them
fine here in Botany. I did find my old Teac wouldn't pick them up in
fast scan, but did in slow scan.

However, now that LCN 4 has been added, I'm getting some odd behaviour
on my DSE box.

When I select LCN 4, it displays 4, then changes to 401. If I go to
LCN 7, 7 is displayed, then changes to 402. This happens all the way
up to LCN 11.

I've now deleted the radio chaneels for data 44, and the DSE box is
displaying the TV channel numbers correctly.
