G'day all,

We have a 76cm 1080i capable samsung tv mated with a Dodgytec DH-2000a. We
tried firing up the 1080i output on the DGTEC and found it worked fine with
the exception that the colours were totally wrong - the images looked like
something out of playschool. In 576p and 576i modes the colours are fine.
Unfortunately the TV only supports 480p, otherwise we would be using the
576p mode. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms or got an idea of why
the colours would turn out incorrect?

Thanks,

Rocket.

Is it connected in component...with one of the cables not fully plugged in?

I have a my DGTEC connected to a Sony HS10 projector. I get terrible shades
on the skin of people and on some brighter colours for some reason.

A bit hard to explain, but on blue for example, there will be 3 or 4 shades
of blue very noticeable. Same for Skin colours which is the major problem.
It does this on 1080i and other modes.

It doesn't do it on DVD player component out or normal video recorder
output.

Regards,

Yep, it's connected via component but the weird colour bleed is only seen in
1080i mode. In the other display modes the colours are fine which seems to
indicate a problem with the box, not the cables.
