the rock

just wondering if any one else has had problems with the new edition of the rock ...when l go to the menu screen the music cuts in and out tried two copies same thing took it back and they played it on there player..no problems.....by the way l`ve got an pioneer dv 525 and l`ve got no problems with any other dvd...

If you mean the R1 criterion edition, I have no problems at all on my 535 anf 737.

As regards the R4 special edition, this is from www.michaeldvd.com.au (12/11/01):

'I've received several reports of the main menu audio skipping with the latest Buena Vista releases (The Rock: SE, Face/Off: SE, Air Force One: SE). All seem to involve the Pioneer DV-515. The movies themselves play fine.'

It works fine on my Pioneer (dv-s838a). :(
