I was just wondering which sunday papers have the free foxtel digital
preview dvd's?
I know The Sunday Sun Herald and The Sunday Telegraph have the dvd's but
what other papers are providing it as well in todays (21/3/2004) paper?

I bought both papers and neither had a DVD - the news agent knew nothing about it as well. :-/

its splashed on the front page of the SUNDAY TELEGRAPH here in Sydney. Just
ask the newsagents
for your free dvd. It also appears in:

The Sunday Telegraph
Herald Sun Sunday
The Sunday Mail
The Sunday Times

For those who get home delivery cut out the coupon and goto the newsagents
to get your free DVD.

It depends on whether you bought it from a main agency or a sub-agency.
Some main agencies keep these promotional items when limited numbers are
available. There was a big stink about this during the Sydney Olympics
where medallions and pins were offered for $1 or $2. Some main agencies
refused to hand any of them over to the sub-agencies.

As for this promotion, they were available with The Sunday Telegraph in
Sydney. I don't know what the corresponding publications are elsewhere.

Not a mention in the country editions.

Hmm, I wonder how they manage to roll up a paper (for those that get them
home delivered), with a DVD inside!

One of the weirdest things that has ever come with a paper in my life , was
when I living in Florida in the US, and one Sunday, the Sun-Sentinel came
with a 100g box of biscuits bundled with it. Can you imagine the poor kid
that had to deliver the papers that morning? The extra weight and space
alone...

They now offer a coupon inside the newspaper for those who get home
delivery. They just need to goto the newsagent with the coupon to claim
whatever they missed out on.

They had a stink about it b4 when The Australian presented a free Paul Kelly
CD single and the home delivery people never got it.

I assume the country editions won't get it because foxtel pay tv is not
available in the country areas. They get Austar in the country areas. So a
foxtel promotion would be irrelivant to them.

True, however the country edition may only be different for the first few
pages.
