XMS and JPG

Played some jpg's right now - several questions i have:

- possible to SET the orientation so it stops readjusting itself manually all the time?
- PROBLEM: - when a file has been saved with photoshop - it doesnt display properly, yet when its a jpg produced from my camera (300D) there are no problems.
- possible to set the interval between the photos?


if you could give me some hints - that would be great;

I have 2 digital cameras, a Sony DSCP-72, and a 'Starcam' from Strathfield a while ago.
The pictures that come out of the Sony, work perfectly every time.
The pictures that come out of the Starcam (640x480) almost never work (although show perfectly on my PC's).
The only Starcam pictures that work on the XMS-888, are that have been massaged on the PC, and resaved. (either with 602photo, or paint, or something like that - I don't have photoshop-)
Whether they have been rotated, had red eyes removed, or just opened, and resaved, they are fine on the XMS, without the 'massaging' they come up with 'jpg data corrupt', or they try to display, and it comes up with large random blocks.
I think the XMS-888 is very fussy about the jpg format.
Perhaps they could be a little more 'loose' in future firmware.
p.s. sorry, no hints there, apart from maybe trying to save it with a different package for now.
