Coupling Heads Up! $15 from CD Wow HK

One of my all time favourite BBC series, Coupling is now available at
CD-Wow Hong Kong for HK$89 per season for all three seasons. That's
AU$15 approx from my calcs, and that's pretty cheap. Its too late for me
as I've got all three already. Its Region 2 PAL, the UK version of the
discs.

I'm only really recommending it if you've already seen it and like it
already naturally, but its like a far more risque version of Friends,
except its actually funny since its English comedy.

Its old news, but for those who don't know, Richard Coyle, who plays
Jeff Murdock, has left the show for season 4, essentially quoting
typecasting fears for his reason. The character has been replaced rather
than keeping Jeff as another actor (which would have been terrible).
Season 4 is filming now and wraps up soon.

$17 each. Great show.

Plus I have also ordered "Have I Got News For You", "Drop the Dead Donkey",
"Royale Family" and the original "Italian Job". (and all the Father Ted
series are looking very tempting) - I am obviously feeling a bit nostalgic

- memo to self - I really should remember to go to the site more often,
although IMHO their recent releases are a bit expensive now.

Good point about the pricing also. I sat and searched their site for about
half an hour last night and wondered if they would again reduce their
prices. The current prices are very, very ordinary. I used to only use CDWow
HK, but doesn't look as though I will be again.

Wonder how much business they have lost.

Still no joy viewing www.cd-wow.com.uk from my BigPong account. I tried
at work today and got the page no problems, but at home -- nought.
Mozilla, Opera, and IE won't display any images.

Interestingly, doing a search for "coupling" at home produces a "no dvds
found" message, but at work, the same search produces three results.

Guess I'll just have to order these DVD's from work :-(

Order made, but they were out of stock for S1 & 3, so I'll have to wait for
them :( S2 is on its way...

BTW, I haven't actually seen this, but am getting it on friends' recommendation
of the show.

Same here, I got about 5 discs from them yesterday, including the 2nd series
of 'Coupling', but the 1st series must've stopped to buy smokes duty free.
I've used them a couple of times before with good results too.

I've had S1 & 2 plus Clerks:CE arrive in the last few days. Apparently also
my order of Chasing Amy:CE has been dispatched, with Coupling S3 still to
come...

All were HK$89 ~= AU$16. The Clerks & Chasing Amy ones are actually the
Australian R4(&R2) discs! They are about $27 at K-Mart.

Yes, very impressed with CD Wow for this, my first order. Now to sit
down and start watching Coupling :)

Mine turned up yesterday as well. Unfortunately the second disc from Season
two was missing. Was quite impressed with the customer service when I
emailed them about it.
