Problem with LG DC593W

I own a LG DC593W. Its about a year old, and everthing was runing fine until one day the dvd drive decided to open automatically and display "disc error". ive tried running a dvd, vcd, and cd, but the drive just spits them out dislaying the same message - "disc error". this is also the case when the drive is empty. there is nothing abouth this in the users manual. does anyone know what my problem/solution could be? this is my last resort before taking advantage of the warranty. :mad:

Take advantage of warranty ASAP. Sounds like something best fixed by the manufacturer.
