My Radeon 9200 is acting up for some reason. I have not tampered with any of my PC's graphical settings whatsoever but for some reason this keeps happening. All of a sudden now my monitor will flicker on and off, when it comes back on, a message shows up and says something like "There was a problem with your Radeon 9200 graphic settings so we reset the VPU: Would you like to send an error report to ATI?" It'll then proceed to flicker again about 5 minutes later saying the same thing. Then after the second time, it'll flicker again but this time when it comes back on, my screen is distorted with different colors on the screen and it freezes. Can anyone help me out here? I had Best Buy install the Radeon 9200 in my PC about 2 months ago and there has been no problems till now. This PC is also only 2 months old. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the release notes of the ATI catalyst drivers. I would suggest that you update your driver and see if it helps.

I agree with Haggis. Try installing the latest drivers from ATI to see if they help the problem. It could be something they have already fixed.

The ATI instructions suggest that you uninstall the current drivers before you install the new ones. Go to Add/Remove Programs. Remove the ATI Control Panel first, then the ATI Drivers, then the Uninstall Utility. Reboot, then install the new drivers.

Ok, I got the 2/24 drivers, and as of now, everything is fine, I'll let you know if it acts up again. Thank you.
