Psycho III scared the crap out of me when I was 10..

And I remember I think I was 6 and An American Werewolf In London was on and they were running through the moors.. Scared the hell out of me.

Now I don't find anything scary although the Exorcist & Stigmata was disturbing in a good way, and the Exorcist & Omen very intense. Good stuff!!

Two Films have left me a little freaked out
1. Copycat, the guys just creepy and trying to get her and yeh...
2. I can't remember the name of it, however it was some haunted house movie of sorts house on haunted hill? Wasn't really a GREAT movie but sometimes watching movies late at night can freak you out

3. Although not a movie that episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where the creatures stole everyones voices scared me.

Hammer House of Horror was the name of the people who produced all these movies back in the 70's, from Vampires to Zombies and they used to scare me something shocking...but I watched every one of them from start to finish. I'd go to bed with the sheets wrapped tightly around my neck to keep Vampires at bay and my feet pulled up to stop anything grabbing them. I bet if I watched these movies today I'd laugh my way through the cheese fest :dD

Not really a huge fan of Horror films and can't really say that I have seen alot of slasher/horror type films other than the Scream/I know what you did last summer type films and the usual ones like The Exorcist(and the lame sequal) and the Omen(except the made for TV last one).

Probably for me it would have to be The Exorcist as pretty scary, also I remember seeing The Omen(the first one with Gregory Peck in it) and that was pretty scary when I first saw it when I was younger.

Anyway so- which film or films have scared the living dayights out of you, or at least were able to terrorise you?

I thought I was the only one freaked out by The Omen!! *group hug*

wow this is an old thread!
my first real scary movie would have to be Alien or Alien 2 (the one in the vents.)
i saw that one night at home one night when i was about 12 and needless to say it was bl00dy scary!

This wasn't that scary for a movie, but I ended up not being able to sleep the night after I saw 28 days later :o. I'm blaming it on the possums and fruit bats screeching and making me paranoid the whole night

I'm not big on Horror movies, i have seen Chucky (1&2) and I Know what you did last summer. I Know these arn't the scariest movies made, but they are still to much for me (maybe because i dont like blood)

The Blair Witch Project scared the crappers out of me. I get goosebumps just thinking about it *shudders*...

And The Ring was pretty freaky too.

Have to agree there, something about it made me on edge the whole second half of the film... plus it was difficult to sleep that night.... I love it when a film has that effect ;)
