i bouhgt a mini disc player and im am currently converting cds from my dvd player to it, i connected the optical cable up and it fita fine and everything, but how do i actually record onto the discs, like i pressed play on the dvd player and the record on the md player and it said no signal

do i have to prgram the dvd player to output the signal throught the optical output or wat, yeah can anyone give me any help

DVD players should have RCA ports. Use a stereo Y-adapter or whatever :dD
