X-Box or PS2?

Good news, there is a new Resident Evil game on PS2, Bad news is its another one like the dodgey RE:Survivor. This ones called RE: Dead Aim though. explore in 3rd person, shoot using G-con45 in first person.

Like I said though, I'd be surprised if sony didn't buy exclusive rights for their new games when the current contract ends.

As for nintendo releasing nintendo games on other systems, I only see this happening if they completely drop out of the console market, and the way japan think anything nintendo touch turns to gold, I dodn't see it happenng.

Vice city will be a year old but better late than never imo.I agree that nintendo will stay inhouse which is a way for them to kepp a share of there markets.
I would prefer that games were not made just for one console or another though but would like to see something similar to rental windows but maybe instead being a console window,even if its a year.That way we all still get to play the games we want no matter our choice in console (i can keep dreaming).

Nintendo won't be releasing games on other consoles, they have said when they stop making cosoles they'll stop making games. Yep and you're right the Japanese know a good console when they see one.

It's about 8 months old already, Like I said, by march next year, It'll almost be 2 years old. I'd just like to see how it stacks up to the new games that are being released around this time. I'd think they'd have to add a few fetures at least.

I agree with the window for games thing, but the console companies pay a LOT of money to the game designers for this.

Sony have had more time in the market though, so they have built a collection of charactors that won't be released elsewhere, Microsoft need a couple more years and they'll be the same.

Look at nintendo, if it wasn't for theirs, they'd have been out of the consoles with the N64.

The Nintendo 64 did quite well.

Much better than the Gamecube has done.

Only because there was only a choice of 2 consoles, and it was coming of the strengh of the SNES against a console that was brand new, had no history to back it up. Hence is sold a sh!tload before the real qualities of the PS outshined it.

A more diverse range of games,
Streaming cut scenes,
A controller that can stand up to a bit of punishment,

Ugh... If there's one thing wrong with Xbox fans, it's the standard jump to the Halo defense whenever even the slightest bit of <console here> has better games than Xbox.

Don't get me wrong, Halo is a fun game. Graphically, It looks great, but as a First Person Shooter, it's hardly anything revolutionary.

Not sure what your on about telling Macfarlane to shut up (Who is Macfarlane???), but cosidering most of the games on the gamecube are also available on the PS2 and X-box, I think your comment is pretty exaggerated.

I watch this thread along with other console warfare with great amusement. Where did this console favouritism start?

Every console has its own merits both technically and entertainment wise. So why don't we all embrace these manufacturers that are competing against each that inevitably leads to better products on the market, all to the beneift of the consumers.... us!!!

So lets make peace and not war and purchase all three consoles!!! if u can afford it!!
