What are peoples opinions on Glass Bead Screens .
I swear by them and do own one but there are many out there who dissagree . I love them as in my opinion they bring out a true white and i only need to run the CRTs at 20% bright and 60% contrast which obviously , in CRT or LCD/DLP language , means greater black levels .
If you agree / dissagree , why ?
I am going a step forward ( backwards ?? ) in actually experimenting and using friend of mine who sprays road lines and signs and getting him to spray a large sheet of MDF with the same stuff they use to do the roads and see how that comes up .
Apparently they spray the white and then shoot the glass bead over the wet paint . I told him i was worried bout flat spots etc and been promised the most even screen out or my money back ( even though he wasnt charging me anyway ... lol ) .
Anyway , a forum is for opinions so please throw them at me as thats what im in here for , to help and be helped .
