I realise that no longer the thread starter can delete his own thread- Is it possible for the Moderator, on request from the person who would like the thread deleted, rather than having the subject line have a "sold" or "traded" inserted next to the original subject, have the whole thread deleted- even if it is only for ones that don't have a response?

Being able to delete threads was a great option for people who accidentally post a topic thread more than once (Lagged server / double clicking - whatever reason), but as this ability was starting to get abused by people and used to delete large threads (affecting the validity of members' post counts), it was removed.
I think it's a catch 22. I would like to have the ability re-instated, but know that it will be mis-used by some people...

I don't want to go into more details than I have to, but due to issues in the past, this feature has been taken from visitors due to various reasons that are are actually for the good of all users of the forum.
That's all I have to say on this matter. :)
Thanks,

I havent deleted a thread so it doesnt affect me. Deleting posts annoys me, cos when you reply to someone it mays you look like the knob, when in fact they were the culprits
