Hey everyone,
I got Foxtel Digital today and sort of pleased but quite a few problems. The one I wanted to get thoughts on is changing to seven and ten to certain times. I can understand that because seven and ten are only analogue they cannot provide info on the channel programme or programme info but is there any way to switch over to the channels at specific times. When I tried it will only book the channel every 4 hours I believe, which means I wont be able to record certain shows on seven and ten because the timeslots dont fit in with the programmes. Any ideas?

E.G of this problem. Simpsons on Fox 8 at 7pm (30 mins), Simpsons on Ten at 7:30pm (1 hour) I can book the Fox 8 timeslot but Ten's timeslot wont be till probably 8, how can it auto switch to ten at 7:30pm?

IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP!

Thanks

I cannot understand how you can be getting analogue 7 and 10 through the digital Foxtel box. As far as I am aware 2, 7 & 10 are still to allow Foxtel rights to distribute their channels.

Anyway to your problem, it is easily fixed by taping the Simpsons on Fox8 +2 at 9pm.

7 and 10 have not done a retransmission agreement with foxtel which means foxtel can't/won't list their programs in the epg. That means you can't book any programs on 7 or 10...

Cable connections receive a retransmitted analogue version of 7 and 10.

The simspons are different episodes between FTA and PAY, so often you will
want to record both to get both sets of episodes.

That's only on Satellite, Dog. Lummie sounds like he's on cable, which does
get a 7 and 10 (analogue) signal
