And you dont bash the mouth which has been feeding you the last 6 weeks... It was a bit of an insult to the show from him.
One of the non nominated ones will be up tonight. And I wouldn't be surprised if Tezza isn't nominated. She's only just scrapped him the last couple of times, so she'll get a week off.

What exactly is the correct forum?
One last thing amy,not sure how old you are but if you realy are concerned about the plight of those people in detention then you get a chance to do something that might actually help them.Do it at the same time as me in the next federal election and they might see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Our merls can't do anything though cause he's not an australian citizen.

Trust me it was not a stunt on behalf of BB, it was totally Merlins doing. I have to say Gretal said it so right tonight. If he is going to make a protest to get people to be symphethic he can't do it in an aggressive way it just alienates people. And sorry but how pathetic is his reason for not becoming an Australian citizian! I mean if he is soooooo passionate about this cause he would have become an Aussie so he could vote and try and make a difference but the lure of travelling and working overseas is bigger (he said it). Pathetic. Im glad that Gretal caught him trying to turn it around.
Ps. Oz I know I bloody did a lot of spelling mistakes in that paragraph, p off and don't say a word. :PI

Some of my thoughts:
1) Merlin is a hypocrite. His reason for not becoming a citizen was so that he could keep his European passport to travel! Since when has an Aussie passport stopped you travelling almost anywhere? What he did was absolutey pathetic. He wants to influence others to his viewpoint. Wasn't he the biggest one in the house saying people have the right to differing opinions?
2) His way of doing it was aggressive. I cannot stand Gretel, but it put her in a very tough position, and he certainly didn't think any further than his own thoughts.
3) He couldn't offer a solution. I cannot stand people who bag something, and then cannot say anything about what should be done. What a tool!
4) What are his solutions for those 'refugees' that have been shown don't come from countries where political asylum is granted (eg. Pakistan). Totally and utterly one track thinking.
5) He said he wanted to get the refugee situation into mainstream media. It has been in mainstream media almost non-stop since the last Federal election (children overboard, escape from Woomera, Nauru, the single refugee left in a detainee camp, the children situation in courts to name a few). What he did has not changed a thing. Yes we are talking about it, but look at the fact most posts are negative about his actions!
<Steps down from soap box>...
Well said luther, he's a wanker.

They're quick....
edit:
my opinion:
Tonight's interview merely showed us that Merlin has a slightly distorted political stance and that Gretal is a bitch.

Well, Gretal, a "professional interveiwer" let her personal opinion get in the way of her interviewing - she manipulated Merlin with her questions to get a desired response.
Whether or not you agree that she did this is up to you, but that was how I saw it.
