Fuck me you can talk crap. There is nothing interactive about the
service. Its datacasting and thats it (besides the Expo channel which
really shouldnt be there cause it breaks the datacasting rules)

Ch 4 - EPG
Ch 44 - Datacast Channel Guide
Ch 41 - ABC News, Sport & Weather
Ch 45 - Service NSW (Coast Watch, RTA Traffic Cams etc)
Ch 48 - SportsTAB
Ch 49 - Expo Channel (Video)
Chs 401 -> 407 - Audio from Federal Parliament

The unit's modem is so you can access the internet (however you can utilize
connections made through a network via USB>Ethernet or USB>Wireless
Internet)

TV Mail is offered on the DVB-500, but its only through pre-existing POP3
accts

Apples and oranges - the 500 is more of a Multimedia unit. Its an attempt
to use the TV as a quasi net terminal as well as using it for Digital
Television.
