I posted here a few weeks ago about the Nintaus 9901 DVD which I finally got hold of, but thought you may be interested to now that Nintaus are about to release 3 new models with specs below. Incidently, I got the 9901 from JB HiFi who I think lack in customer service. I phoned them around the same time as my original post asking them to get back to me when they got some new stocks of the 9901's. dvd-N9769 has the progressive scan function.
and the dvd-n9738/n9739 have the DTS decorder output.

Comparing
dvd-n9739 to dvd-n9738,the different point is that they have different front
pannel. About the other functions are the same.

Not being Technical Minded here- but as a owner of a Nintaus(dvd 9901) model... I was wondering if there is much difference between the newer models and the one that I own?
What(if any) are the advantages or extras that are on these models which wouldn't be on 9901?

Compare the stats !
Ok, mainly these differences - the new model(s) have:

1. Progressive scan function
2. DTS decoder 5.1 channel output (old modem has the output, not the decoder on-board)
4. Compatible with HDCD
12. Compatible with PAL60 TV system
16. Y, Pb, Pr output, VGA output
20. intelligent upgrade function

I know nothing about their projected retail price.
I do know they are being submitted for European Certification (CE) and will be available around February.

I suspect the 9901 will be superceded.
If not, probable a price drop on that model.
