re Static on Digital TV devices???

[hmmmm]

hi all,

i noticed on another list a guy was trying to work
out if his digital tv pci card was working prior to
antenna connection...

he said he couldn't see any static!!

is static no longer a feature on digital tv devices?

progress stinks...

i havent seen static on my digital pc card but at times i can hear a slight static click in the audio,dont know what causes it

It's usually some kind of magnetic/radio device.... i.e. Cordless phone,
wireless networking equipment, spectrum analysers, MRI devices... ;)
Or the computer itself.....
