Hi. I have a Philips DVD 951. When playing DVDs which have the option for "different camera angle" a bright blue icon pop up in the top left of the screen.
According to the manual this is only temporary and should be displayed for a few seconds. However the icon stays present during the entire time a different angle is available.
This was extremely annoying when I recently purchased the anime Grave of the Fireflies, where the entire movie can be viewed either in "normal view" or "storyboard view". So from start to finish there was an increasingly annoying blue icon on screen which I couldn't get rid of.
So does anybody know if there's a way to disable those "helpful" icons, or at least get rid of them once they've been displayed for a few seconds? I've been noticing it on more movies now and it's really distracting.
