Nice dredge guys, this post is from '02, no doubt things have changed considerably since then for DC...

haha, yeah, like they stopped making them and what's out there are blowing up. Finding a cheap dreamcast is almost like finding hens teeth.

Email me if you're interested in a Dreamcast. nathanwong@pobox.com

I still have mine that never sold to a fellow EYO forumer.....who seems to have disappeared from the forums....where are you Stew?

Anyway, it's an Aussie Dreamcast, works perfectly, never had any issues with it. It comes with a single Sega controller and Sega VMU, 2 Rumble Packs (non-genuine). I have some games for it if I can find them (I know they're around here somewhere), I am pretty sure I have all the ones I listed in the above thread from nearly 2 years ago

It does seem like this Sega product is not very durable!

I still own my Dreamcast, and I sure hope that it won't "blow up"!

I plan to play my collection of 15 games one day! :D

I had one and it blew a capacitor on the power board, so I went hunting for a replacement capacitor. I found one and got the trusty soldiering Iron out and went to work, got it wired in again, checked for any other burn marks and there were none. So I plugged it all in and fired it up and it blew up in my face as well as the fuse for the house!
My first and last attempt at fixing a console.

Explains why I couldn't find them when I had another look last night! :dD

Anyway, the hardware is all up for sale, and it reads CDRs beautifully......not that I have any use for that  :PI
