Out of 20 million? That means 18.5 million Australians don't watch
Big Brother.. What does that tell you?

That quite a few million of them are either too young or too old to watch
TV.

What does it tell you?

Umm NO. For a start, the ratings figures don't take into account all
Australians. The publicly announced figures usually only refer to the 5
mainland capital cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth)
which account for about 66% of Australian viewers. If you extrapolate that
to cover the whole of Australia, which isn't really accurate but close
enough, the figure is closer to 2.27 million. BUT not everyone watches TV so
you can't really use comparisons like yours. You can really only compare to
the actual viewing public. In any case 1.5 million viewers in the mainland
capital cities is enough to put a program well within the top 20 Australia
shows list.

Lets just say BB sucks and most people know that.

People in Brisbane just don't know any better, so they shouldn't be counted.
