I only like about 6 of those.
Why is it that "womens movies" are soppy, romantic and formula? That's a tad stereotypical. Likewise, i'm sure a lot of men enjoy those movies. I'll always skip the teary flicks, thanks. Give me a good intellectual thriller any day.

Yeah I don't really see how True Romance belongs. We might as well add A Clockwork Orange

out of that list there is prob only about 4 movies i like

why is it that 'womens movies' are always classed as the romantic sob stories? im sorry but 99% of them are crap and they are soooooooooo predictable boy meets girl, girl and boy fall in love, boy and girl live happily ever after or 1 of them dies theyre all the same and if u have seen one then u have seen them all, kinda like the james bond movies

Well me being a female l love a good romance movie :) , l'll watch drama, action and some horror and comedy. Normaly it depends on the mood l'm in at the time but l just enjoy watching them, l don't think there just chick flicks ( as there named either ) l think guys would watch romance movies as well which l think is fine it shouldn't be a problem..... but most guys wouldn't say they do watch them l think. ;) :dD lol

I don't mind a romance film, as long as it is done properly. I don't like the type where the heroine is someone which really is not a nice person. Take 'My Best Friends Wedding' as an example... Even 'Pretty Woman' feels that way to me....

Romantic ones such as 'When Harry Met Sally', 'Il Mare' and 'My Sassy Girl' are my preferred ones.

To me a romance is when they fall in love, even the likes of Green Card when they don't end up together and Somersby well the ending makes me cry buckets. But to me just because they Fall inlove dosn't mean it's always a happy ending the way l want it, mmmmmmmm Somersby might watch that tonight now l've thought of it. :)
