DO you think they are good idea? i personally dont like them and having a window that keeps popping saying so and so wants a receipt do u accept?
i think it should either be auntomatic or not have them at all.
maybe im just lazy

I think the older ver was auto but this ver allows you to specify if you want to send one or not.
In some cases it could be usefull. check out the options to see if there is a way to auto respond.

Personally I preferred it the auto way but at least this option gives the user more control.

I personally don't like the fact that the read receipts are on by default with the annoying popup box, it would be nicer to have an option in usercp to prompt or not. I think the popup is not worded correctly either, do you wan't to request a receipt yes or cancel? whatever happened to yes or no, that would seem more logical. I often wonder if some of the PM's I get are asking for a read receipt because cancel looks like an option to canel the message not the request. Still if they stay, they stay, who am I to argue, we do get to use this for nothing after all.

lol yeh i always quickly puch ok to get rid of it and then the person who recieves the msg never validates the response, even though they might reply an answer.
