I have a Dgtec 2000b SD box and the subtitles/teletex keeps popping up all
the time, randomly on it own. It this a common fault. Also the sould keeps
dropping out for a split second.

Is there a software update that I can do myself. Or does it have to go back
for repair.

Thanks
Michael

I had the same problem with the sound. The only fix for this is to get
another STB. You will be alot happier. If HD I would suggest the Panasonic
QTR 2140.

Good luck

Michael,

I just bought the 2000B and I am having similar problems with the
sound dropping out constantly, but for only a second or less at a
time. I have tried with both the analogue and optical digital
connectors. I am not having the problem with the subtitles though.

It has got annoying enough that my household has asked to revert to
analogue TV after less than a day.

I think I will be contacting DG-TEC support.

good luck with dgtec support.........................

your antenna may be bad on the tv frequencies that pick up digital tv.

on the other hand you own a 2000B and have no problems with the remote
control buttons....amazing.....

lol you could always buy my Strong 5290 I'm selling, owned it since they
came out a year ago, not a single problem (I'm moving to NY so have to sell
it).

email me if you are interested.

Cheers,
Dean
