AFter turning it on for the first time, thi sunit automatically programmed
all the Channels except Channel 7. Would there be a reason for this??
How can I rectify it???

It is possible that the signal strength is down on C7 in your area, enough to make your unit skip it. Add it manually if you can.

lol - take it back to the shops and buy a Strong set top that actually does
it's job.

The lower bound of the frequency range scanned by default by the Samsung is
right on the frequency range used by Seven, so the box misses it first time
through.

Manually adjust the lower bound of the frequency range (ie., lower it even
further) then do another automatic scan - all Seven's channels will then
appear (and work) just fine.
