was reading and they had the top 100 songs that changed the world...(singers, historians, industry execs and critics where asked to list the music that has moved and inspired us) well l`ll just put the top ten :)
1: That's All Right...................Elvis Presley
2: I Wanna Hold Your Hand......The Beatles
3: God Saved The Queen.........Sex Pistols
4: Rapper's Delight..................Sugarhill Gang
5: Smells Like Teen Spirit..........Nirvana
6: Strange Fruit......................Billie Holiday
7: Like A Rolling Stone..............Bob Dylan
8: Walk This Way....................Run DMC
9: Blue Monday.......................New Order
10: Do They Know It's Christmas...Band Aid
so any thoughts on the top ten and any songs you'd have in there ??
tried to put top 100 in a doc format but couldn't so top ten it stays :(

How can Imagine not be in there? Nirvana only 'changed the world' after he committed suicide, not the actual song itself.

l was thinking what songs should be in the top 10 but never thought of that one.........it came in at 31 :confused:

I would of said Imagine too.
Where are the BeeGees? they started the disco era.

Heehee :D, the funny thing is that I've seen Target trying to flog off about 50 of those CD's in one of those bargain bins and no one's buying them :rolling: And steps are in there too, with nearly as many CD's as scandalous :dD

I agree Karmond, they both should be in there and higher up. I like songs like What A Wonderful World that song makes me notice l take things for granted in life, ( without meaning to ) and not enough people stop to enjoy life and l think that song should be in there :confused: . Geez that what deep and meaningfull for me. ;) :)

highest (well..and only) Bob Dylan is the one at #7
