gigaair sender receiver remote control

I've seen a few posts from people saying the

Gigaair 2020 remote doesn't work with digital and a couple who say
they've got it working

I can get a remote signal from thereceiver unit downstairs to the
sender unit upstairs but can't get the 'mouse' to deliver it

Anyone using it successfully got any suggestions??

Yep!

Nope! Sorry, just plugged it all in and it worked.
Could be a dud mouse. Try looking at it with a video camera, you'll be able
to see the IR signal while someone uses the remote at the other end.
