just wondering if any one can help....want to get my dad an cheap dvd player, does anyone know if you can get an adapter for the three rca cables to go into the antennal socket of the tv or do l have to go through a video player ..

and whats a good dvd player that doesn`t have macro...

if you get a player without macro, then you don't need the adapter, you can just run it through your vcr. i have an omni DV3300D ($268 rrp) that I use like this. The adapters are $69.95 if you get a player that is not macro free

yep he hasn`t go a video player so l was wondering if there`s an adapter for the rca to go into the antenna socket of the tv....

yes, that's the bit that cost $69.95, commonly refered to as an AV Signal converter, it goes inline with your antenna lead and accepts the rca's as an input. tune to whichever station it's set to, channel 37 etc and your away
