Toshiba Hack

Does anyone know if the Toshiba 2600 can be region modified with a remote code, and if so do you have it ????

A friend just bought one and has asked me if I knew.

nope theer is no remote hack for this player.
He will have to get a region mod done for it,prolly cost around 100-150 bucks.

It should be just a matter of running the re program disc through the machine.Most retailers will throw it in for an extra $50.Best of luck with the 2600 it's a groovy little machine when it's going but there have been alot of "Issues" with it's reliability and general touchiness to a variety of dvd's.I put a wide range of software through them and killed 3 of them in 6 months.I changed to a yammy and it's goin ok so far.
