Reviewing all region titles

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is done or not.

In the news and reviews section are only R4 titles reviewed or titles from any region?

I would like to see some reviews on some other regions. In particular I was after a review on Trapped and The Good Girl both only on R1 ATM.

hey death,i think you will find most of the discs reveiwed are supplied by studios so i dont think you will find many other region reveiws at this stage unless one of the reveiwers buys the disc in question and bothers to reveiw it.
I f i was you i would buy the disc in question if you want it before r4 release,(THE GOOD GIRL WONT EVEN BE IN CINEMAS HERE UNTILL MARCH)then if it is crud just ebay it or put it in the for sale section.
I doubt you would lose more than a couple of dollars if ANYTHING;).
Personnally i have good girl on order atm so i will post what the movie was like if you want.

I dont think we're allowed to do official non R4 reviews as these reviews on Eyo are actually taken from the site we review for, which is www.region4dvd.net

Just about all of the DVDs we review are ones that we receive from the distributors to review and these are region 4.
With the amount that we have coming in, we really don't have time to review anything else.
Also, the distributors who help us out and give us stuff to review are trying to promote local releases, so I prefer that we only have region 4 content in the News and Reviews section with their stuff.

If anyone wants to review stuff from other regions, they are more than welcome to post their reviews in General Chat.
If they want to review games, that can post them in the Gamers Forum. :)

For now, I'd prefer to keep the News and Reviews section for region 4 stuff.

Edit - Forgot to say that another thing is that as Mac said, the reviews come from my site, www.region4dvd.net which covers region 4 DVD only. :)

Scott, I would appreaciate it if you told me if it was any good.

I had the same thoughts regarding the early release R1 titles compared to the release on cinema here in Aus.

Perhaps I will order these in and then sell/trade em if I don't like em, but I will wait for your opinion on the good girl first.
