Ok, they've obviously got cheaper with the Aussie/US $ exchange rate but
that's changing now... It's noticeable that some PC component prices for
relatively stable parts is going up e.g. older CPUs, memory and some HDs.
What think you about Plasmas? They seem very "cheap" here in Aus compared
to say Europe, normally you might expect prices to be the other way around?

Seen 42-inch plasmas in the States for US$1498 (A$2100) after mail-in
rebate.

**Nah. I discovered years ago, that most electronics stuff is more expensive
in Europe.
