My HTAV receiver does not have pre-out connectors for the rear surround
outputs and I would like to run the rear speaker outs into some sort of AV
transmitter so I can have wireless rear speakers.
Will this device from Jaycar work?

I don't want to blow up my amp...the Jaycar part is rated at 4ohms and my
HTAV manual says that the rear speakers can be between 6 to 16 ohms.
It does also say somewhere else in the manual not to run speakers that are
lower than 4 ohms.

Will this work OK? Any help appreciated ;)

Make sure it will handle the rated power output for your HTAV receiver
surrounds. There is no information on the Jaycar site about that so you'll
have to ask them.

Thanks guys...the Jaycar shop assistant told me that they only have the one
converter which is set at 4 ohms.
Mainly designed for car audio I guess. All I can do is give it a shot and
see what happens!
