Hello everyone, Here's are the questions....
I am considering a projector and have been encouraged by all
the good things I hear about watching DVD's and HDTV video on XGA
projectors like the BenQ PB-6200 or Sanyo plv-z2, HOWEVER....
1. I wanted to know what it is like to watch regular cable TV on
projectors? I will be getting a Motorola DCT-5100 from the cable
company in order to get the HDTV signal but that is for only 12 (HDTV)
of the channels. The 5100 has component video out and S-video (along
with the composite video)
2. How would I set things up to get the best looking picture for the
regular channels?
3. Are regular cable channels that come through a digital cable box
just 480i signals and will they look like crap on a 10ft diagonal
screen?
4. The PB-6200 has s-video and a vga input (which I think is able to
accept component video with a conversion cable) but does this enhance
regular cable signal?
5. Anyone out there watch regular cable TV on their projector?
