Heh heh.
Wouldn't you know it. Researching some films and the one you want to see isn't around in stores in my area, even though it had a VHS release. Does anyone here know of any places (any state) that sell old, hard-to-find, ex-rental VHS? (or even a hire-store that may have it and would be willing to hire it out by mail interstate).
I'm trying to locate a specific video (the film Spirits of the Air, Gremlins of the Clouds, released in 1989, probably just catalogued as Spirits of the Air). Any help tracking down this Aussie film would be greatly appreciated. Haven't hunted for VHS in a long time - there seem decidedly less of them around.

hey dvd Drifter, have you tried Trash Video in Brisbane. Check out their website. They deal only in cult and weird, rare movies. They may be able to help you.
I have purchased a couple of incredibly rare movies from them that would never be released on DVD.
Cheers

Junkie, thanks for that info. It turns out that Trash Video in Brisbane do have it. However, they do not have it for sale - it is for rental only. And in-person, over-the-counter rental not interstate mail. Me being in SA, that unfortunately leaves that out. Oh well... thanks for the info - at least now I know where I could find one.

EDIT: Damn - found a place in Balmain, NSW, Video Shift, that also has a copy for rental only, and again no rental by mail. Figures.
