I believe it is a bit late to call your mobile now as i do have a bit of respect for business hours but if your still online , can you please explain how you go about doing this as i have a G70 with a blue that seems to have this problem as its more spotty than worn .

Anyway , i hope your still online and can explain to me whats involved and if there are any after effects .

THanx mate and i hope to hear from you soon .

P.S.. I dont want you to tell me how its done as this is why its your business and i am willing to pay you to do the hard work but i just cant believe this can be done .

It's quite easy to do yourself - run a search one the AVS CRT forums for
fungus and/or ask there.

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=16

You can also ask on the HT Central CRT forums

http://www.htcentral.net/forums/index.php?showforum=16

What city are you in? There are plenty of quite helpfull people in
Australia willing to help out with this kinda thing.

Save your money - It isn't that hard.

Email me if you want some help.

It's a little more difficult on the G70 because it has liquid-coupled
tubes, but AFAIK, you can still do it yourself.

I've only heard of this problem on the lesser Sony's in the past, but
not that I can recall on the G70.

McLaren, post your message to the group that I emailed you about last
week, there are several people there that have done this before, and
will be able to help

Regards

John
