RGB output in HDTV is fine.
unfortunately SDTV in RGB out overscans....you miss out on most of the
channel nine logo.

But SDTV in component is fine......but component out on this box does
not do 1080i hdtv!!

therefore, you have to have both RGB and component hooked up to your
HDTV device in order to watch SD and HDTV.......

and you have to switch the outputs by going into the menu ......
yes that's right it can't ouput component and RGB at the same time....

in short this box is a bleedin nightmare!!!!!!!!!

DGTEC....should be renamed DOGITECH

and I should also add that I am taking about the NEW 2000APLUS
not the 2000A.....which has documented painful troubles of its own.

My friend,
The DGTEC 2000a plus DOES do 1080i from the component outputs.
My unit is doing it, as I write this, into my samsung WS-32a10HW TV.
Cheers
Brian

Hello my Friend,
I just reread the DGTEC 2000a plus manual and you are right.
It only does 1080 SD from the component outputs.
Sorry about that.
Cheers
