I am after a second cheap VCR and saw this factory seconds shop. It
had heaps of LG factory seconds VCRs in original boxes

2 head $99 to about $120 for 6 head HiFi

They carry full warranty

The guy said they are new and just have a few marks.

I think they are warranty returns which have been fixed. That means
that may have been used heavily.

Who is right? are they worth it?

BTW I can get a new 6 head HiFi LG for $148 and Big W

You can get about those prices brand new with the best specials.

Not necessarily. Some do get marks that make them
unsellable for the same price as the unmarked.

I doubt anyone bothers to do warranty repairs on stuff that cheap.

> That means that may have been used heavily.

I doubt it. Even if they did fail under warranty,
they arent likely to be swapped for a new one
and the returned one repaired.

> Who is right? are they worth it?

Likely. Tho there is always some possibility that
they have a subtle fault that got them exchanged, the
monkey couldnt see the problem and just decided
that it was another example of another stupid customer.

Yeah, you aint saving much, bit of a risk that the $120
one is a dud with subtle fault unless you can see the
visible scratch etc that makes it unsaleable at $148

Sonwa. I meant to delete the LG bit and managed to forget to.
