GUNS'N'ROSES - Civil War :rolling:
NEXT:
Hey bro, take it slow
You ain't livin' in a video
You're flying low with a high velocity
No doubt, you're stressin' out
That ain't what rock n' roll's about
Get off that one way trip down lonely street
Now I know you've been kicked around
You ain't alone in this ugly town
You stick a needle in your arm
You bite the dust, you buy the farm
HINT: Early 90's hit by some rock legend...

Okay here's another from the same era:

Top fuel funny car’s
A drug for me

MOTLEY CRUE - Kickstart My Heart :)
NEXT:
Here I go out to sea again
The sunshine fills my hair
And dreams hang in the air
Gulls in the sky and in my blue eye
You know it feels unfair
There's magic everywhere
Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine...
HINT: something that I liked around late eighties and it wasn't metal. Just to break the monotony... :PI

Awwww wow, I have not heard that song in 17 years! No wonder I couldn't remember it!
It's A Wonderful Life - BLACK
Thanks for dredging up the repressed-memory that was "Rick Astley" by the way :p

Baby don't you hear my heart
You got it drowning out the radio

For you to come along and have some fun

Okay - some hints for you:
The song is from one of the biggest selling CDs from the late 1970s.
And here is a (not-so) cryptic clue for you:
It was off one HELL of an album ;)

Alright...I've ticked my brain long enough that I can't help but cheating...
MEATLOAF - Paradise By The Dashboard Light

I've been down
I've been cryin' in the dead of night
I've been tryin', I've been tryin'
To find the time to make it right

Awww - you liddle cheat :D
Can't trick me on this one - I ain't nobody's fool :D
LONG COLD WINTER - Cinderella
Awesome album, awesome band. Tom Keifer had such a great voice. "Don't Know What You've Got 'til It's Gone" is one of my favourite ballads.

Okay - this may not be 100% as I am just going off the top of my head:
"Rise up, gather round, rock this place to the ground, burn it up, let's go for broke, watch this place go up in smoke"
Some clues:
From a MASSIVELY successful hard rock band of the 80s/90s
Sampled lyrics from this song featured in a number 1 hit song from only a couple of years ago :)

Can't remember the name of the song, but I think it might be Def Leppard maybe?

Correct you are foyboy.
I'll give you that one - because it is an obscure song. The actual song is "Rock Of Ages", off the Pyromania album.
The "unter gleeben glouten globen" (wrong spelling no doubt!) from the start of Offspring's "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" is from that song ;)

"There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure, And you know sometimes words have two meanings"
a bit easy, but I couldn't think of anything better
