% off sale at target

Just picked up the new target catalogue and it has:
15 % off entire range of dvd's
15 % off PS2 games
20% off X-box games

Not sure of the date, the catalogue is still in the car. would be in the next few days and last a week, just a hunch.

i generally do a little research on the net before i go to target.. i like to see if i can get the dvd's cheaper off a www site first (taking into account postage as well) than target with their 15% off

I went there today to buy Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth on PS2.

Thought their advertising was pretty tacky - hardly any banners.

Walked up to the counter, asking how much it would be without discount, only to have them stare at me blankly, as if ensinuating What sale?.

I asked "Do you guys have 10 or 20% off games?". She replies with No, just 15% off DVD's only. You must be thinking of K-Mart.

Weird. :confused:. Maybe it was just a target sale in the Eastern states......:(

It was only DVD's in my Target.

They had 24 for $110, so got the 15%, then another 5% with discount card so scored for $88.

So rather happy

The Target here had Minority Report for $29.95 before discount...i would have bought it but my R1 is already on the way.

It is with great saddness that I must admit I was mistaken.

Having recieved the weekly catalogues pretty much all on the one day, I was too startled with the semi naked female underwear models and switched to the kmart catalogue without registering.

The games discounts are at K-mart from Sat 25th - Fri 31st.
still as above though.
15% off PS2 titles
20 % off X-box titles

And I'm sure if you go in there, they might go out the back and dust off some of those Gamecube games and give you 50 % off to take them off thier hands.
