Region Codes for JNL 7003 player

We've just received a JNL 7003 DVD player for Christmas. The box says that it is Manual Region Changable - but there are no instructions in the box on how th change the region.

I have about 20 Region 2 DVDs that I collected when I was the UK, but only 2 of them play back on this player (Both Disney movies) - all the others display 'Region Error' when the disks are inserted.

I have found the codes for earlier models on the net, but I can't find the codes for the 7003 & JNL won't reply to my e-mails.

Does anybody know the codes for the region & macrovision for this player????

I found the code out for the JNL 7003 players if anyone else is interested...

1. With the tray open - type in the sequence 8421 with the remote

2. Now press enter & a menu will allow you to flick through all the regions, when you get to the region you want, just load the disk back in.

I used your post to turn my JNL 7003 to all regions *S*, thanks for the post.

I e-mailed JNL and the reply I got had a different code for the regions that did not work, but it also had codes for turning the macrovision on and off.

To turn it on or off, do it the same way as for the region code, but type in 4561 and you can toggle it on and off with the enter key and then shut the drawer when you are done.

I have two video recorders hooked up together. One is affected by the macrovision and one isn't. With it disabled in the dvd player, both videos now have a nice clear and stable picture.
