I have got a DGTEC 2000A Plus recommended by the shop. Unfortunately I have found unbearable problems with it. In 1080i mode (only mode my TV will sync), the component output gives very low saturation picture while the D-Sub gives shifted colours with shielded VGA cable. Only normal picture can only be achieved by S-Video in SD.

I am wondering if the Panasonic unit is a good one? As it is available from the same shop I bought the DGTEC from for an extra $200. I don't know the model, but it says "Distributed by Panasonic" in the front. If there is a better model you can recommend, I would pretty much like to hear. Thanks.

Toshiba S23 (old model) S25 (new model) and Panasonic seem to be the
favourites at http://www.dtvforum.info/

The shop agreed to exchange the unit with the new Panasonic STB. They can not source Toshiba unfortunately, when I asked for a S35. Now I just need to wait until the Panasonic arrives. I am sure plenty of people are waiting for it too.:) Thanks for those who replied.
