Hey guys
I have an Onkyo Tx-sr601 in the living room and a PC with an Audigy 2 sound card in my room, about 15m of cable away.
Originally I was thinking of running 15m of coaxial cable from the PC's digital out to the amp's coaxial in. Hence I get to enjoy crystal clear digital sound in my living room, since most of my music is on the PC.
Now I have seen threads on here about wireless sound transmission devices. If my aim is to have top quality sound from my PC and to the amp, will the wireless device achieve that or not? I asked a guy at JB this once and he said they are crap, sound quality is really bad.
What are your thoughts? Like I said, most of my tunes are on the PC and I really want top sound quality going to the amp...
