I have a LG 42" Plasma and DGTEC HD-2000A set top box, connected by a good quality component cable. When watching digital TV I get a purplish haze across the top of the screen (about an inch in width), more prominent on black and whit/grey backgrounds. I do not experience this problem when watching analog TV. I took back to the supplier the set top box and cable and had it tested on a LG screen in their showroom - no problem. I have also had the Plasma checked by an approved repairer - agian no problem. I'm not prepared to live with this problem considering the money I have spent.
