newbie needs advice

[Mark Osborne]

Today I purchased a Kaon KTF 200 SD STB and despite its description of a
simple install I cannot get it to work.

If it means anything and I'm not sure if it's an error message but "EAIn" is
showing on the front display???

i assume you've plugged the aerial into it. if you have a masthead
amplifier it may be the culprit. it can be better not to run those
with digital boxes.

i assume you've plugged the aerial into it. if you have a masthead
amplifier it may be the culprit. it can be better not to run those
with digital boxes.

Yes I have followed the instructions to the letter and I do have my aerial
on a mast but no amp.

Where are you located....got a set of rabbit ears you can try?

Sounds like it maybe that the "Source" is wrong....any options in this area?
........but that is just a guess.
