Why don't you keep them ?

Rumour has it the upcoming DVDs will be Special Special Editions far, far
away from the originals.

Surely the Star Wars bore would keep every version for completeness.

true dat.. but I also sold all my LD players, and I dont want to keep
one just for Star Wars...

it might be a good thing to keep, but its big, and i can get $100+ for
it, so thats reason enough for me:)
