For pure viewing pleasure nothing beats a nice big CRT like the 86cm Sony
or Panasonic.

The Panasonic 86cm can be had for as little as $3200, the Sony a few
hundred more (but not worth the extra IMHO).

Not sure where you're buying you're tv's from but the RRP for the 86cm
sony is more like $5500, a few hundred more than $3200 is quite a discount.

There are factory seconds retailers that are selling SONY,PHILIPS,LG and others at some very low prices,with factory warranty. But there may be a risk with repairs ??? who knows until you buy.
