IMHO I think the best RP TV is the 111cm LG dlp. It is less than 1/4 the size of most RPs and the picture is as good as any plasma and able to be got for about $3400. At this stage LG is the only manufacturer with a DLP RP (it also comes in a larger screen) in the Australian market, but keep your eyes open for DLP models from other makers in the next few months.

Hold on to your money, and wait for the new lcos rptv to hit the australian market.
The picture resolution is double that of a plasma, and is around $3000 to $6000 for a 54 inch model.

I bought the following Home theatre system from JB Hi-Fi yesterday. I paid a total of $3726, inclusive of all component leads and a 5 year in home Parts & Labour warranty.
