Help please to buy a SD TSBox

I want to purchase a SD TSBox..
Our TV is rear projection with teletext and a VCR.

I would appreciate if the panel could advice me what features I should look for .Some of the boxes are very plain ( Aldi).
I am prepared to spend about $300au

we have a new sd model out shortly with s-video and 5.1 optical, with
features and ease of use to blow away any sd unit we've seen. And well under
$300. We'll let some go early to locals:)
